NEWCASTLE FELLOWSHIP

MAR THOMA CHURCH

Apostolic in origin. Catholic in nature. Biblical in faith. Evangelical in principle. Ecumenical in outlook. Oriental in worship. Democratic in function. Episcopal in character.
The Newcastle Fellowship in Newcastle-upon-Tyne is under the Malankara Mar Thoma Syrian Church and its North America and Europe Diocese and has a Vicar-in-charge from the Liverpool parish.
This small Fellowship is supported by Marthomites residing in the areas of Newcastle, Sunderland, Washington and Stockton-on-Tees. A Holy Communion service in Malayalam is held once a month and follows the Mar Thoma Church liturgy. A cottage prayer meeting is held once a month at the residence of church members.
The Fellowship enjoys the love and support of St. Andrew's Church in Lamesley, Gateshead, a place of worship steeped in immense history since 1286 with Saxon origins.
AS OUR COUNTRY IS STILL VIGILANT OF THE COVID-19 SITUATION, WE REQUEST ALL FELLOWSHIP MEMBERS AND VISITORS TO KINDLY ADHERE TO THE COVID-19 PREVENTION PROTOCOLS.
